As read from The Star Online, the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) is organising the Olympic Day Run 2012. As told by the Vice President of The Federal Territory Amateur Athletics Association (FTAAA), no foreigners are allowed to participate in order to encourage more Malaysian to be part of the event, unless they are foreigners with PR status.
Sponsors
McDonald's will be the main sponsor of the event. The co-sponsors are Coca-Cola, HDI Network, Milo, Olympic Sport Hotel, Power, Procter & Gamble and Spritzer.
Details
The event will be held on 8 July 2012, offering a total cash prize of RM18,000 and targeting 12,000 participants. The run has 13 categories. Entry forms are available at McDonald's restaurant and the FTAAA. For more info, please log on to www.mcdonalds.com.my or www.olympic.org.my.
The clerk at the FTAAA was not helpful and I was asked 2 chck d website myself if thr were any place left.If don't want 2 help thn don't be there. Others i'm sure will be willing 2 help.thanks.
