2XU Compression Run 2012: Event Day
Hahaha...the editor don't have time to update on this timely due to the time constraint. The event held in Singapore, and for the first time, a bunch of EFR's members go out over the sea to run it.
Here're some story about the journey to the 2XU Compression Singapore run.
We planned to meet at Menara Milenium, Pusat Bandar Damansara at 9pm (Saturday), but finally ended up we started our journey at around 10.30pm. Standard!!
We later had a fuel filling + kick start session at Shell Sg Besi Petrol Station. That time I think it is around 11.30 since we stuck in a traffic jam at Mid Valley. Saturday nite, so .. Standard lah!!
The first driver (after EFR 7 brings us to the Shell), was EFR 3, and he had EFR 4 as a co-driver. He drove from Sg Besi to Pagoh. At Pagoh RnR, we took a break. EFR 12 had a Mee Soup and EFR 4, Mee Bandung Pagoh. EFR 7 who was sleeping all the way to Pagoh, continue her comfort sleep at the RnR.
We later continue our expedition with the next driver, EFR 4. He drove all the way to Singapore from Pagoh, accompanied by EFR 13.
We finally reached Singapore at around 3.30am. Although taking photograph is strictly prohibited at the custom terminal, EFR 3 were able to snap some pics. Jahatttt... :)
We get to the Furniture Mall at around 4.30am, and took a nab. At around 6am, we get ready at the starting line for flag-off.
One thing about the running event in Singapore is, they start it a bit late. Compare to Malaysia, when the flag is off, it is still dark and cold. However, there in Singapore, even the race is not yet started, but we already can feel the heat of the sun. EFR 3 and EFR 4 who gonna run the 15km category start to worry that they must finish it faster before the sun get so torturing.
Shit! It's a hot day running. We finish the respective running category. The sun ... wow!!!! Pocari Sweat is damn tasty. We just can't run the race, but to stop at every water station to get that water. Besides, the water station also a lot wey....got many many many water station...hahaha...
15km runners - EFR 3 & EFR 4 - experienced running beside the F1 Marina Bay Strees Circuit and the Singapore Flyer. Picture below, EFR 3 (left) and EFR 4.
10km runners - EFR 7, 12, 13 also experienced to go to that two things, but without the need to run beside it (only after they finish la..haha). Picture below, from left EFR 13, EFR 7 and EFR 12.
After the race, we went to find the Sultan Mosque in Arab Street.
After taking a bath and change, we went to find something we were already aimed since in
Malaysia ----> The Very Special, Delicious and HUGE Zam Zam Murtabak.
The restaurant actually is just behind the Mosque.

Finally we can't finish it and we 'take away' that murtabak.
We can't waste an opportunity to visit the nearest 7/11 there and get a bottle of Pocari Sweat yang sangat sedap and unforgettable.
All the finishers are entitled to receive an exclusive 2XU towel.
It is a simply special and unforgettable running event for us!!! C u Singapore!!!

LHKSAS 2012 is cancelled
Today, on the PACM's website, the President of the club wrote,
"With the demise of Al Marhum Yang Teramat Mulia Raja Kechil Sulung Perak Darul Ridzuan Raja Dato' Seri Ashman Shah ibni Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah, on 30th Mac 2012, we regret to inform that the above event is cancelled.
Entry Fees Refund
All participants will be contacted individually via email by myraceonline with effect from 9th April 2012. The said email will state the procedure and options mode of refund."

2XU Compression Run 2012: Race Pack Collection
For this upcoming running event, which is 2XU Compression Run 2012, five (5) EFRs will take part. The interesting fact is the person who collects for the race kit for these five EFRs, is EFR 5 (Ezani) who will not run this race.
The EFRs who will fly to Singapore this weekend are: EFR 3, EFR 4, EFR 7, EFR 12 & EFR 13. Here are the snapshots on the race pack collection day.
