Well, well, well! Perhaps this is the second last event of the year with major participation by EFRs, before Newton Challenge 2013. While we only had 4 representatives participated in the same event last year, this year, we have MORE THAN 10 EFRs! Good, good, good. It seems that our fun runners here take a healthy lifestyle very seriously. However, only 1 out of 4 EFRs joined last year who ran again this time - EFR 1.
Therefore, some of EFRs (for the first time), they quite shocked when Men's category flagged off first. Haha..Malakoff Run memang like that maaa! Overall, talking about the event, Malakoff has been a popular brand for many, many, many sports event, and with PACM being the organiser, everything has gone very well. The route was the same as per last year, with the expected uphill slopes that challenged the runners. However, 2 loops made the race route more predictable when you were at your second. It helped a lot, especially the amateur runners like us, who normally do not really care about the race route before the race. Haha.
EFRs milestone - EFR 1 claimed his PB and being the fastest among other EFRs, despite not happy with his result. EFR 7 claimed her PB and she thanked to her participation in Chief Original Bootcamp.
Goodies, wow, the best! Finishing medal, exactly the same design like Malakoff Penang 2012 earlier this year (however predictable). Pink/orange race shirt, awesome! Event, makes us happy! We would proud to join again next year. To all EFRs, the end of Malakoff KL 2012, is the start of registration for Malakoff Penang 2013. We have been informed that EFR 3 has been among the earliest to claim the spot. So, come and join for next year's run, kawan2.
Here are the snapshots of the event day. Enjoy!
