OCBC Cycle M'sia & Penang Run 2013: Controversial, however ended Awesome!

OCBC Cycle Malaysia, Malaysia’s largest mass participation cycling event on closed public roads, returned for its sophomore instalment to much aplomb as more than 5,000 cyclists took to the streets of Kuala Lumpur, nearly doubling the number of participants from its inaugural instalment in 2011 which gathered some 3,500 riders.

The event has been postponed from 12-13 Jan initially, to 19-20 Jan. The reason being, issued by the organiser is, due to a 'himpunan' held in KL on 12 Jan. Some people disagree, as it resulted in they need to cancel their accomodation and flight booking. However, the event still held awesome-ly and so happening.

EFR 11 joined 'The Challenge' category. The Challenge is a 48KM-race mainly to cater the hardcore bikers in town. EFR 3, in the other hand, went for the 24KM as this is his first cycling event. EFR 11 recorded 1 hour 51 mins in his challenge. Kudos you both!

Meanwhile, in the other event, a controversial Penang Run 2012 has been held very well, far in the north of Peninsular Malaysia. EFR 3 finished his run, not really in style I guess. His 17km run came right after the exhausting outdoor challenges within the last 24 hours. 7km water rafting which followed by the 2km caving, his 17km Penang Run has completed his personal 24-hours challenge.
